THANK YOU Burning Hearts Disciples! The online prayer scaffolds you directed me to in the packet, Sacred Space and Pray as You Go, have been invaluable over the past few days as I quit all of my procrastinating and really buckle down on building my relationship with Jesus. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!
I received personal recommendations in areas I expressed wanting additional knowledge in. I loved how it was customized to my life. The surveys and questionnaires my companion used were really helpful. They really touched on all areas of our faith and shined a light on areas that I personally wasn't as tuned in with.

The most helpful aspect of the Burning Hearts has been my family's Faith Growth Plan and the one-to-one attention and guidance we got from our Disciple. This mentoring was invaluable! Knowing that there are like-minded hearts to encourage us no matter where our ministries and professions take us helped us grow as spouses, parents, and lay ministers.

In Your Parish / Diocese
"The parish in and through all of its activities, should animate its members to become agents of the New Evangelization, witnessing through both their words and their lives" (XIII Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops)
Catholic parishes and dioceses across the United States are seeking to understand and implement the call to New Evangelization - to re-propose the person of Christ to their parishioners.
We build relationships with parishes, dioceses, schools and small groups who are ready to take the next step toward creating a culture of intentional discipleship. By accompanying your group, we provide encouragement and accountability, help uncover resources, and facilitate discussions that help create a culture of discipleship at your parish.

I loved all the hands on ideas that I can use right away. Rather than just focusing on why this is important, we learned actual examples of things we can do. I'm going to use some of these right away and it's really going to add to my classes!

Kristin was a pleasure to work with from the early planning stages of our pre-ordination retreat for the permanent diaconate, to the last day of the conference.
Burning Hearts Disciples, under her direction as Executive Director, was able to meet every goal we were trying to attain for the men and their wives that attended our five day retreat.
Even though I had previous opportunities for conferences utilizing Intentional Disciples; she was able to bring a personal side to our understanding of what a Personal Relationship with God entails. She was able to challenge our deacon candidates and wives to break out of their comfort zones and assist them to be able to lead when they become deacons in their own parishes.
Across the board we received positive feedback from all who attended. Many expressed how much they enjoyed the message, the humor and the way she presented. I can't say enough about the abilities, direction, and thoughts that were pulled together by Kristin for our retreat. You not only hit a homerun; you hit it out of the park!

I was worried that this was going to be similar to the many “classes” we had already been through - many of which felt like passive reception of content. That was definitely not the case. The wealth of info you gave us - especially the exposure to so many different resources - will be beneficial to me in my ministry. You encouraged me to open up myself and be a little vulnerable - something you modeled so well.

This retreat helped me see parish life through a different filter. Those of us who work in ministry think we have dynamic parishes, but so much of what we do is ineffective, dead or dying. I received so much more on how to better serve my parish than I could have ever imagined.

This was both practical and spiritual. It has helped give me concrete language to pinpoint who God is for me, and most importantly begin to unpack why. I only got about halfway through the reflection handout, but I'm looking forward to going through the rest at home!
