Sept 2024 - St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, New Berlin, WI

Family of Parishes • Rochester Hills, MI Oct 5, 2024

We encourage all Family of Parish volunteers- and any parishioner seeking to grow in your journey of faith and discipleship-to join us for a morning of hospitality, inspiration, practical tools, and spiritual formation.

We have invited special guest presenter Kristin Bird from Burning Hearts Disciples to share about the 'power of story. We will look at the story God has written in history. We will also take time to discover the story God is writing in our personal lives by reflecting on our own encounters with Jesus, and recognizing how He moves within our lives.

Key Quotes

The light of faith is linked to concrete life-stories. (Pope Francis, Lumen Fidei, 12)

Faith is not the product of reflection, nor is it even an attempt to penetrate the depths of my own being.  Both these things may be present, but they remain insufficient without the ‘listening’ through which God, from without, from a story he himself created challenges me. (Pope Benedict XVI, October 2015 Interview)
