Living as Missionary Disciples in Parishes and Catholic Schools June 7, 2023
Parishes, dioceses and Catholic schools across the United States are seeking to understand and implement the call to New Evangelization - to re-propose the person of Christ to their people.
Burning Hearts Disciples builds relationships with parishes, dioceses, and schools who are ready to take the next step toward creating a culture of intentional discipleship.
Please join us as we delve into how we can better live out the call to be missionary disciples in our lives both inside and outside the walls of our parishes and schools and how we can effectively pass on the proclamation of the Gospel to others.
If you would like to talk to someone about planning for evangelization & discipleship, hosting a parish mission/retreat, or forming a team of missionary disciples, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Quotes
Evangelizing is in fact the grace and vocation proper to the Church, her deepest identity. She exists in order to evangelize.
Pope Paul VI, Evangellii Nuntiandi
Faith is the “primary victim” of a Church that does not live out of its missionary identity. But the good news is that faith -- the ability to trust and believe -- will flourish in a missionary environment.

Key Quotes
The light of faith is linked to concrete life-stories. (Pope Francis, Lumen Fidei, 12)
Faith is not the product of reflection, nor is it even an attempt to penetrate the depths of my own being. Both these things may be present, but they remain insufficient without the ‘listening’ through which God, from without, from a story he himself created challenges me. (Pope Benedict XVI, October 2015 Interview)
